1. Data Controller
Under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK"), your personal data is processed by Postra, acting as data controller, within the scope described below. The data controller's registered trade name, address, and contact details for official notices will be stated in full in the final text.
2. Personal Data Processed
In the course of providing the service, we may process identity data (first and last name), contact data (email address), account and authentication data, domain and mailbox configuration data, payment and billing data, and activity and log records relating to your use of the service.
3. Purposes of Processing
Your personal data is processed for the purposes of creating and managing your account, providing the email hosting service, performing authentication and keeping your account secure, carrying out billing and payment operations, responding to support requests, and fulfilling legal obligations.
4. Legal Basis for Processing
Your personal data is processed on the following legal bases: the processing being directly related to the formation or performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, the legitimate interest of the data controller, and, where required, your explicit consent.
5. Data Sharing
To the extent necessary to provide the service, your personal data may be shared with suppliers such as infrastructure, email delivery, and payment service providers, and with legally authorized public institutions and bodies, in accordance with the conditions set out in the KVKK. Where data is transferred abroad, the safeguards required by applicable law are provided.
6. Retention Period
Your personal data is retained for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it is processed, taking into account the limitation and retention periods prescribed by applicable law. When these periods expire, your data is deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.
7. Rights of the Data Subject (KVKK Art. 11)
Under Article 11 of the KVKK, you have the right to learn whether your personal data is being processed, to request information about such processing, to learn the purpose of the processing and whether your data is used in line with that purpose, to know the third parties to whom your data is transferred domestically or abroad, to request the correction, deletion, or destruction of data that is incomplete or inaccurately processed, and to object to a result arising against you from the analysis of your data exclusively by automated systems.
